The work must remain operable.
JobSite targets WCAG 2.2 AA across its public, staff and portal surfaces. Critical construction, financial, safety and consent information must not depend on colour, pointer precision, motion or a single sensory channel. This page states the target and the open defects; it does not claim conformance.
What the design system is built to
These are properties of the component layer rather than promises about every screen: status is carried by text, colour and box treatment so it survives greyscale and forced-colours mode; controls take their height from a density token so the same button is at least 44px on this site and 56px in the field; focus is a visible two-pixel outline on every interactive element; motion is 120–180ms and is switched off entirely under prefers-reduced-motion; and content is never revealed by hover alone.
Figures are set in tabular mono so a column of money or dates can be compared, and every form control owns its label, hint and error wiring rather than leaving it to be remembered.
What adapts to the reader
Reduced motion is respected. Dense, comfortable and field densities change sizing without hiding information.
Known defects
Published rather than summarised away. A statement that named no defects would be less useful and less honest than this list.
| Where | Defect | Criterion | State |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sign-in | The email field is typed as plain text rather than as an email address, so mobile keyboards do not adapt and the browser performs no format validation. | WCAG 1.3.5 Identify Input Purpose | Overdue: Open |
| Sign-in | A "Sign in with a passkey" control is offered while passkeys are disabled at the identity provider, so activating it produces an error rather than a sign-in. | WCAG 3.3.1 Error Identification | Overdue: Open |
| Site-wide | The August 2026 review judged text contrast by eye. Computed values now exist for the interactive-boundary token and for this public site; other surfaces have not been measured. | WCAG 1.4.3 / 1.4.11 Contrast | Needs attention: Partly measured |
| Site-wide | Reflow and operability at 400% zoom have not been checked on any page. An earlier draft of this statement asserted single-column reflow at 400%; no measurement was ever taken, so the sentence was removed rather than reworded. | WCAG 1.4.10 Reflow / 1.4.4 Resize Text | Needs attention: Not measured |
| Programme | No independent accessibility audit has been commissioned, and no published conformance report exists. Nothing on this page should be read as a conformance claim. | Reporting | Needs attention: Not started |
There is no reporting channel yet
Contact is being provisioned. JobSite is pre-release and does not yet have a monitored public mailbox. Until one is published here, this site cannot accept a message — please do not send project details, credentials or personal information to any address on this page.
The previous version of this page invited readers to “report an accessibility barrier” through a contact route whose only addresses bounced. A barrier report that silently fails is worse than an acknowledged gap, so the invitation is withdrawn until the channel exists.
When it does, the useful details are the page, the task, the assistive technology and the browser. Private project data is never required.
